I'm an avid animal lover and conservationist with a passion for anything outdoors! My professional background is in spatial ecology and human-wildlife dimensions with research primarily focusing on terrestrial ungulates and carnivores. I completed my M.S. at BYU studying survival and habitat selection of elk in central Utah. My PhD work focused on fine-scale spatial ecology of the endangered ocelot, examining habitat selection and interspecific interactions with bobcats and coyotes. My postdoctoral work has centered around human-wildlife interactions, examining ecosystem diversity and the impact of human activity on wildlife and wildlands. My interests include spatial ecology, conservation, human-wildlife dimensions, education and outreach. I have a passion for developing conservation solutions that benefit both humans and wildlife and aim to continue applying my skills to improve conservation worldwide.
